Hello Pete,
Can you tell me what determines whether a person should purchase a firm or plush Talalay latex topper for a Tempur-Pedic mattress that is causing hip pain? I'm mostly a back sleeper, but some side. Thank you, Karen Hi Karen, It's the memory foam on top of your mattress that’s causing your hip pain. Memory foam is a temperature sensitive material that softens as it warms from your body heat. Memory foam isn't very resilient to begin with, so after a short time, you sink through it to the firm underlying support foam. Adding a Firm Talalay Latex Topper isn't going to improve your hip pain. Adding a Soft Talalay Latex Topper to the top of your mattress won't help, either. Adding a Suite Sleep 3" Soft Talalay Latex Topper to the flip side of your mattress will do the job you want. The memory foam on top of the mattress is worthless. The firm poly foam on the underside will support your body better, and the topper will relieve your hip pain. Suite Sleep's Pure Vita Talalay is the Finest Quality Talalay Latex on the planet...providing years of soft comfort that you won't sink through...creating the feeling that you're 'Floating'. Add this topper to the flip side of your mattress and you will transform it from Painful to Heavenly. Thanks, Pete You Should Know Using an old box spring to support any new mattress will cause premature wear and void the manufacturer’s warranty. https://www.themattressexpert.com/foundations_and_bases.html#/ A waterproof mattress protector will extend the life of a mattress by keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry. https://www.themattressexpert.com/store/p169/Organic_Cotton_Waterproof_Mattress_Protector.html#/ Website: https://themattressexpert.com/ Email: [email protected] Voicemail: 856-874-6894 Follow us on Facebook
