I love the heavenly bed. I like a not-too-firm mattress that has a plush feel to it, that will support all night. My husband likes the same. I’m a classic goldilocks - not too soft....not too firm..solid and feels luxury. Which one? We have a king sized bed. We live in New York. Thanks for the useful, straitforward information on your site. My husband and I are replacing our Queen bed with a King and have been trying to make some sense of the mattress market. At age 62, I am about 130 lbs and have arthritis and neuropathy. So, I need a mattress that is supportive and firm, but comfortable. My husband is about 200 lbs with just the usual aches and pains. I have a lumbar ruptured disc pressing on a root nerve as well as multiple minor vertebral issues related to normal aging. My pain management doctor three times said pllowtop when I asked what type of mattress to get. So when I read your information it appears you discourage these type mattresses. Can you advise me?
