Hi Pete,
What's the best memory foam mattress? I've purchased a few, over recent years. I love the initial feel, but not what becomes of them in far too short order. The ones I've purchased wear out too soon. They sleep hot and most have smelled bad. I look forward to a real solution for my problem. Thanks, Frank Hi Frank, There are a variety of memory foams being used in today's mattresses. The worst, which is also the most common, is chemical based, which accounts for the smell. The smell is the off gassing of the toxic chemicals used to make this type of memory foam. So, it's not just a bad smell, it's health hazard. There is available, plant-based memory foam that doesn't smell or off gas. However, the problem of premature wear and sleeping hot still remains. It's the temperature sensitivity of memory foam that causes these problems. Most memory foams react to your body heat, which causes you to sink into it and then reflects your body's heat back to you. Then there's the foam used by Magniflex, which is made in Italy. Their mattresses provides that cradling feel that you liked so much about memory foam. It is chemical free and it is also not temperature sensitive. These mattresses come with 20 year manufacturer's warranty. It's everything you like about memory foam with nothing you don't. They DO NOT Sleep Hot. They DO NOT Off Gas. They Wear Extremely Well. There are a few different Series of Magniflex Mattresses, with most having a variety of choices.
