Hi Pete, I am replacing our king size guest bedroom bed with a queen. We love our Stearns & Foster Edgefield Classic, that we have in our master bedroom. Although I know mattresses are “supposed” to wear out after about 10 years, ours seems just as comfy and in same shape as when we bought it in the early 2000s. If we would like our guests to enjoy the same type comfort as our mattress, what would you suggest? Or would you suggest putting our S&F in the guest bedroom and getting a new mattress for the master? We have guests coming for The Memorial Day Weekend, so we will need it before then. Hi Pete, Does the Wolf Tulah Mattress require a box spring? I am looking for a guest bedroom mattress is used 1 - 2 months out of the year. I really want it to be nice and comfortable. Not too hard or soft. I do like the old fashioned coil mattresses. The guest bed I have requires a box spring, it does not have a platform with slats.
