Hi Pete, I have a Sealy Posturepedic mattress with 10 year warranty. I’ve just been informed that my warranty claim has been denied because the body impression isn’t deep enough. I can tell you that it’s plenty deep when I’m in bed. It feels like it’s sagging. Any suggestions as to how I can make this mattress livable? I can’t live with it the way it is and I can’t afford to buy a new mattress. This one is less than a year old. Thank you, Larry Hi Larry, The problem is the memory foam upholstery, which soften as it warms from your body heat and then sinks from the pressure of your body weight. There’s a reasonably inexpensive, long term solution to your problem. Add a Soft Latex Topper after you’ve flipped the mattress over to the firmer side that has no memory foam on it. Buying a Tempurpedic mattress was, absolutely, the WORST decision I ever made! I'll never buy anything but a Sealy Posturepedic extra firm, like the old one I had before I bought this dog. John Hi John, Sealy was purchased by Tempurpedic in 2013. The same memory foam that makes Tempurpedic a poor quality mattress, is used to upholster every Sealy mattress. The same fate has befallen S&F, Simmons and Serta… all have been sold… all use the same memory foam. You should be made aware of what it was that caused your problem. It's the memory foam upholstery that off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it's made. All of the major brands have been sold to investors and all are using the same toxic memory foam to upholster their mattresses. Simply switching brands to another name brand, that you once could trust to make a quality mattress, will end with the same result.
