Which is the Softest Latex Mattress Topper to Relieve My Fibromyalgia Pain?

​Hi Pete,
I’m suffering with severe fibromyalgia pain and I dread going to bed at night.
My mattress is too firm, which just makes it worse.
I’ve been reading your blog posts and I’m sold on a latex mattress topper.
Which one is the softest? I’m looking for a cloud like feel.
I’m 5’6” tall and weigh a little more than 200 lbs., if that matters.

And while it is extremely comfortable and long lasting, “cloud like” is not how I would describe the feel.
Soft latex is an excellent place to start, as it wears well for years, even under the weight of a larger person… and for many fibromyalgia sufferers, it enough to relieve the pain.


However, the words you’re using… “severe” and “cloud like feel”, would have me recommend another way to achieve your goal.
The combination of a soft latex topper and an alternative down topper will get you what you want.
The alternative down topper produces that “cloud like feel” you’re looking for, but doesn’t wear as well as latex.
Having a soft latex topper under it will do two things… enhance the softness of the alternative down topper and help it last longer.


You can’t go wrong with the aforementioned Suite Sleep Topper, but if you’re using both, as recommended, you might consider a less expensive latex topper, which isn’t quite as soft, but much different.
