​Hi Pete, 
We have a Sealy Mattress that’s less than five years old. 
We have a platform - no box spring. The mattress is in terrible shape, like sleeping on peeks and valley's. 
My wife and I are now suffering lower back pain every morning after a night on this mattress. 
I keep reading about Shiffman but the price point is crazy.
We don't mind paying for quality. I just want the correct fit. 
We like a firmer mattress.
