Hi John,
I wish there were a short answer to go with your short question.
First off…thee thing to avoid, are mattresses made with memory foam.
Those selling them talk about memory foam as if it was the best thing since sliced bread. Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing…not to mention the chemical off gassing and sleeping hot side effects.
From a salesperson’s point of view, it’s terrific…making you a frequent buyer.
From a consumer’s viewpoint, it’s the worst thing ever invented.

The best upholstery material is Pure, Organic and Hypoallergenic Latex.
This has been true for more than the last 100 years.
And while latex has always been a lot more expensive, of late, the prices have come down.
I have 2 recommendations.
Both use an individually pocketed coil system for proper spinal alignment and pure latex upholstery. Basically, they are the same.
The difference is in the extended services that are offered.

If you need a new boxspring/foundation, I recommend the Magniflex KD Foundation, which comes in your choice of height and color.

Also recommended is a waterproof mattress protector, which prevents perspiration from seeping into the upholstery materials.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will enhance longevity.
