Back Pain on a Sealy Posturepedic Mattress

​Hi Pete,
I have had a Sealy Posturepedic mattress for just about 2 years. 
It has become too soft and I am getting up in the mornings with pains in shoulders, neck and back. 
What is a good firm mattress from Sealy?

There are no good mattresses from Sealy.
Sealy was sold to Tempurepedic and haven’t made a mattress worth buying for more than 10 years.
It’s the memory foam in your mattress that’s causing your problems.
All of the name brands, that you could once trust to make a quality mattress, have been sold and all are using memory foam.
Memory foam is purposefully designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing. It’s, by far, the worst upholstery material ever invented.

 If you need a new boxspring/foundation, I recommend the Magniflex KD Foundation, which comes in your choice of height and color.
They’re very strong and assemble easily with no tools needed.
They are upholstered foundations, a bit dressy, but reasonably priced.

Also recommended is a waterproof mattress protector, which prevents perspiration from seeping into the upholstery materials.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry and odor free will enhance longevity.
