Back Pain on a Latex Mattress

​Hi Pete,I'm currently sleeping on an expensive latex mattress and foundation that is becoming increasingly uncomfortable for my lower back. 
The salesman who sold me this mattress told me that latex is the best and that it would relieve my back pain. Reviews online, including information from your blog, said the same thing. Needless to say, I’m disappointed.


I've traveled recently and stayed at the Westin, where I noticed I slept well and woke pain free. I saw that they sell their 'heavenly' mattresses, which I believe to be a Simmons Beautyrest? Do you have a comparable one? 
I'd like to switch to a platform bed and so would like to be able to purchase a mattress without boxspring.

The salesman who sold you that mattress is correct about latex being the best of all the foams, didn’t know that an all foam mattress doesn’t provide the necessary pushback support for a damaged back.
