A Mattress for Someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis

I would like to know the recommended mattress for someone with rheumatoid arthritis and wakes sore every morning or whenever I lay down?

Hi Bette,
Every body requires some degree of firm support for proper spinal alignment and some degree of surface softness for comfort.
Body weight and ailments, such as yours, are factors in determining which mattress is best. 
Also important, is the quality of the components inside the mattress.

ALSO:
You don’t want to put a new mattress on an old foundation.
Doing so will void the warranty of any mattress.

Also recommended is a waterproof mattress protector, which prevents perspiration from seeping into the upholstery materials.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry and odor free will enhance longevity.
