A Mattress for My 2 Year Old Daughter

​Hi Peter,
I have been reading your blog and I’m still a bit confused as to what type of mattress to buy my 2 year old daughter.  
I'd like to buy her a twin mattress that will last her awhile but don't want to break the bank buying one.  I have looked at the Simmons Beautyrest Plush mattress but do not know where else to look or if it will even last her out of toddlerhood.  
What recommendations would you have for a mattress that was going to be used on a platform bed frame?

After Simmons was sold, everything they make has memory foam.
Memory foam is made of many chemicals. Some of which are toxic.
