A Mattress for a Young Couple Weighing 525 and 250 Lbs.

​Hi Pete,
I’m looking for a king size mattress for a young couple…our son and daughter in law. One weighs 525 lbs. The other is nearly 250 lbs. 
I need a suggestion that will not break down inside a couple years, as previous purchases have.
if you could, please help us with this problem.

A mattress, like any other upholstered product, is pressure sensitive.
The more weight you place upon it, the sooner it will wear.
In your case, you have two issues that affect wear…one who is extraordinarily heavy and the other at half that weight.
In order for any mattress to wear evenly, you’ll need to rotate your mattress regularly from the beginning.
The most durable material is Pure, Organic and Hypoallergenic Latex. 
An all latex mattress will last for many years, even under that much weight.


And, since there is sizable difference in weight between them, they’ll need to rotate your mattress regularly from the beginning.
Once a month for the first year, once every 3 months thereafter.
A standard king size mattress can be rotated 1/4 turn.
