A Mattress and Latex Topper for a 245 lb. Man

​Hi Pete! 
My husband & I bought a mattress & topper set about 9 years ago based on your recommendations & were super thrilled with it. We are moving & it’s about time to replace it & I was coming on to buy the 3” latex topper from Latex for Less but I’m unsure on what mattress is likely best. 
I’m 135 lbs & my husband is 245 lbs. He’s been a chief & Pararescue jumper in the USAF & now retired. Fit as hell & nearly all muscle. I say this to give you an idea of what kind of support we need. We regularly rotate our mattresses & ideally we’d just replace the topper every few years & whatever mattress we get doesn’t have to be too fancy. Just needs to hold firm under normal use. We are both side sleepers. 

Please let me know what you recommend in terms of the mattress & we will get it purchased. Thank you!!

Your husband being fit is certainly a benefit for him.
The mattress, however, doesn’t care what shape his 245 lbs. is in.
